Update on Little Duke...

I just wanted to share some new things about Duke.  I have been working with him the past few days and he now knows "sit", "down" and "stay!"  He is doing really well and I changed his diet which I think has helped him immensely.  He doesn't seem to be drinking as much water, which in turn, is making him not have to potty as much.

Also, he just LOVES the snow.  He had such fun romping through the snow this evening and scooping it up in his mouth!

"Duke" needs a good FOREVER home!!!

Meet Duke...he is an 18 week old German Shepherd puppy who was just diagnosed with diabetes.  He is looking for his forever home with someone who is willing to invest the time, love and expense for his special care.  If there is anyone out there who is interested in hearing more about Duke & his story, please let me know and I will be glad to share all the information with you.  He is a very happy & healthy puppy otherwise and will make someone a WONDERFUL companion!

The Adventure Begins...

So I've been wanting to start a blog for some time now and I finally just sat down and said to myself..."Let's get this Blogging started!"


Although I have lots of things I really want to share, you will have to bare with me as I learn all the ins and outs of how to set up my blog!  Example...I'm trying to figure out what all the "gadgets" are and how to use them.  So any offers of help and advice will be greatly accepted! ;o)


But beware once I get it all figured out...I'll have lots & lots of postings on all kinds of stuff...family, scrapbooking and other crafts, animals, and just whatever might be on my mind at the time!
